Due to our continued growth team, we’re looking for an Internal Sales & Finance Officer to support our UK team.
What do you do as an Internal Sales & Finance Officer at DESOTEC UK?
As Internal Sales & Finance Officer no two days are the same – and that’s exactly what makes it so exciting. Your job is made up of three key parts, giving you plenty of variety and the chance to develop a broad skill set:
1. Internal Sales:
o Be the first point of contact for our (potential) B2B customers in the UK – both in speaking and in writing
o Handle new commercial requests and prepare quotes
o Create sales orders in our ERP system (Navision – moving to Microsoft Dynamics in 2025)
o Follow up with customers and prospects through our CRM system (Salesforce)
o Support our Sales Engineers with administrative and commercial tasks
2. Finance:
o Process and follow up on incoming invoices and payment reminders
o Monitor approval workflows for purchase invoices
o Record purchase invoices and bank statements
3. Logistics Backup:
o Assist in managing and optimizing logistics operations
o Ensure compliance with transport and customs regulations
o Administer waste-related documentation according to UK legislation
o Handle logistics-related admin tasks
o Collaborate closely with internal teams for smooth communication

You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team within our UK hub – supported by the international DESOTEC group’s resources and expertise.

You’re well-organized, detail-oriented, and accurate – capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently and on time.
You enjoy variety and multitasking, and can switch gears quickly.
You communicate clearly and confidently, both internally and externally.
You’re a team player who can also work independently.
You have a strong commercial instinct, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
You hold a bachelor’s degree (e.g., in Business Administration).
You’re proficient with ERP and CRM systems and MS Office.
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Bonus: Some knowledge of accounting is a plus!
