Technical Network has been retained by a major building products manufacturer to source an experienced Maintenance Manager. Maintenance Manager
Salary to £48,000 + benefits (day shift)
Location: Kidderminster
Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maximising the operating efficiency of the production plant and equipment, managing a small team to ensure breakdown and planned maintenance is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties:
1. Lead and mentor a multiskilled maintenance engineering team working over two shift patterns
2. Ensure regulatory and legislation compliance for HSE, COSHH, RAMS, Environmental, PUWER, etc.
3. Prioritise preventative and corrective maintenance work orders within the CMMS.
4. Manage and control maintenance engineering resources to achieve required machine availability and safety standards.
5. Manage, coach, and mentor your team.
6. Promote the company's HSE policies across the department and plant.
Experience required
Applications are sought from experienced Maintenance Supervisors and Managers keen to progress their careers in a manufacturing environment with modern plant & equipment.
* Time served mechanical or electrical apprentice; IOSH or NEBOSH desirable
* Proven ability to manage, lead, upskill, and coach a technical team
* Experience in setting departmental objectives/KPIs and reviewing performance
* In-depth knowledge of planned maintenance, TPM, RCM, and CMMS systems
* Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance
* Experience with CNC machinery, material handling, PLC controls
