Lab Automation Specialist
This role involves the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of automated systems to ensure minimal downtime and increased time for science.
The ideal candidate will have a technical engineering qualification or apprenticeship, along with experience in laboratory instrument support across various scientific and/or automated systems. They will be responsible for providing prompt, flexible, and customer-focused engineering support while maintaining compliance with statutory, regulatory, and engineering standards. Additionally, they will participate in training activities to gain a better understanding of automation and develop knowledge of equipment assets and science to enable understanding of current and new technologies utilized by customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance automated systems to minimize downtime and maximize time for science.
* Provide prompt, flexible, and customer-focused engineering support while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
* Participate in training activities to improve understanding of automation and related technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Demonstrated experience in laboratory instrument support across various scientific and/or automated systems.
