Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic registered nurses to work within our diverse team. We have 32 surgical beds, which provides nurses with opportunities to learn new skills and take on challenges. We place a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary working and holistic care for patients and staff. We support nursing development with an open door policy to the senior nursing team, so you can discuss your future and progress. We strive to treat all staff fairly with respect and to develop you in your chosen pathway to mutually benefit patient care.
Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with patients, relatives/carers, nursing colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to deliver care that addresses physical, social and psychological needs.
* Manage a caseload of patients with excellent patient care and strong organisational skills.
* Support the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to maintain and develop high standards of patient care, ensuring privacy, dignity and respect.
* Assist in implementing initiatives within the Trust’s Nursing and Midwifery and Patient Involvement & Experience Strategies.
* Ensure nursing practice reflects current clinical developments and evidence-based guidance; participate in audits and research opportunities where appropriate.
* Contribute to the local implementation of the Essence of Care Framework and participate in its local delivery.
* Collaborate with partner organisations to deliver local and specialist services and contribute to a compassionate, respectful workplace that supports staff development and innovation.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with NMC pin.
* Applicants who have not yet completed the OSCE cannot be considered; candidates must already have obtained their NMC pin to practice in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and Trust policies.
