Description
Working directly with the Commercial and DA Partnerships Leadership team, you’ll be delivering oversight and management of contracts across AXA Commercial for this 12-month fixed term contract. You’ll work closely with the teams across Commercial, primarily with the DA Partnerships and Strategic Partners teams, and the AXA UK Legal team.
As Contracts Manager, you’ll be responsible for applying the contract management framework for all Commercial Distribution and Delegated Authority contracts. You’ll collaborate with Relationship and Product Managers to understand the pipeline of new distribution arrangements, ensuring contractual provisions are in place before relationships commence. Additionally, you’ll manage a plan to ensure AXA Commercial complies with AXA UK and Group guidelines for distribution and Delegated Authority contract management. You’ll resolve contract-related issues in coordination with the AXA UK Legal Team, Risk Teams, Relationship Managers, and external firms as needed.

What you’ll be doing:
* Managing the commercial contract pipeline and prioritisation process.
* Overseeing the contracts database for all distribution and delegated authority arrangements.
* Providing contractual guidance and best practice advice to AXA Commercial teams.
* Maintaining strong links with Group Legal to uphold best practices.
* Ensuring compliance with governance frameworks during contract onboarding and offboarding.
* Reviewing and advising on mandatory clauses and contract reviews.
* Reporting regularly to the UK Risk team and fulfilling ad hoc requests.
* Collaborating with experts to address issues affecting compliance with AXA UK and Group requirements.
* Proactively identifying and proposing solutions for contracts not going live as planned.
* Executing and maintaining operational plans to ensure compliance with guidelines.
* Reviewing residual risk exposure and addressing delays or shortfalls in planned activities.

What you’ll bring:
* Knowledge of procurement processes, including contract formation, termination, and dispute resolution.
* Legal and contracting experience, with understanding of Delegated Authority arrangements preferred.
