The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
* Inspire students to explore French language and culture
* Support students of all abilities through inclusive and differentiated teaching
* Prepare students for GCSE French examinations
* Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources
* Lead or support extracurricular activities such as language clubs, cultural events, or trips abroad
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Play an active role in the pastoral life of the school, including form tutoring

The Ideal Candidate

* Holds (or is working towards) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has a degree in French or a related subject
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for language education
