Job description:
Venn Group have been approached by a Local Authority in East Yorkshire to recruit a dynamic and creative Content Creator to support their communications and engagement strategy. This will initially be an interim post for 6 months.
Duties:
1. Develop, produce, and publish high-quality content across digital platforms social media, website, email newsletters, video channels).
2. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to translate complex information into accessible, engaging narratives.
3. Create visual assets including infographics, short videos, photography, and branded graphics aligned with the Council’s visual identity.
4. Support delivery of public campaigns on topics such as transport, housing, climate action, economic growth, and skills development.
5. Assist in managing the Council’s website and social media channels, ensuring content is up-to-date, relevant, and user-focused.
The successful candidate will have proven experience creating content for digital platforms in a professional setting (agency, public sector, media, or freelance)
Hourly Rate: Negotiable
