Applications are invited for consultants with a special interest in respiratory medicine to join an existing team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Assessment and management of patients with a range of respiratory diseases within in-patient and out-patient settings.
* General medical on-call duties.
* Clinical administration associated with this.
* Personal responsibility for the care of general and specialist respiratory inpatients and outpatients.
* Share in acute unselected medical take.
* Supervision of doctors to whom care is delegated.
* Collaboration within a multi-professional respiratory team and maintenance of a friendly, collaborative culture.
