Key Responsibilities
Business Development Support
(approx. 40 % of role)
* Support the implementation of new CRM (customer relationship management system) – Monday- across the business.
* Manage the administration of Venture Security contract renewals with existing clients and help the office manager in following up sales leads.
* Gather market intelligence to keep the management team up to date on security industry trends and issues. Monitor the competition and provide competitor updates.
Marketing Communications and Digital Marketing
(approx. 60 % of role)
* Work with our agency to provide information and capture video and photography to helpand create compelling content and design for the Venture Security website, LinkedIn posts, blogs, case studies and thought pieces.
* Manage digital marketing and social media activity to raise Venture Security’s profile in the security market and to support recruitment of new staff, with a particular focus on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube.
* Update and maintain website content, ensuring it aligns with brand messaging.
* Manage the monthly customer newsletter by liaising with the business on news items, generating content and capturing video and photos.
* Manage the process for capturing client testimonials and developing case studies.
* Work with MD and Office manager to support event preparation and management and identify and attend industry associations and professional bodies for networking.
Skills and Experience
Around 1-3 years of marketing and/or business development support experience (client-side or agency)
Qualification in Marketing/ Communications preferred
Good knowledge and proficiency in social media platforms and LinkedIn
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present information and communicate articulately
Comfortable using IT systems, CRM and design tools to complete tasks accurately, efficiently, and in line with organisational requirements
Design, video and photographic skills
Strong analytical skills to research markets and interpret data
Organised with good attention to detail; able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships and confident enough to take ownership of tasks and projects
