A Co. Armagh based organisation is seeking a Senior Accounts Assistant to support a busy Finance department across multiple entities. The rolebines credit control, accounts receivable, management accounts support, and process improvement, working full‑time on‑site and reporting to the Accountant. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Your new role
Core Focus Areas
Accounts Receivable — managing debt collection, resolving invoice queries, maintaining customer records, processing cash allocation, preparing aged debt reports, andpleting sales routines.
Accounts Assistant duties — assisting with management accounts, bank reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end processes, intepany reconciliations, VAT returns, stock analysis, and audit support.
Expense processing — handlingpany card and employee expenses, matching receipts, and allocating costs accurately.
Process improvement — identifying and championing system and workflow enhancements.
What you'll need to succeed
You will thrive in this role if you are:
1. Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
2. Confidentmunicating with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Proactive in identifying improvements and streamlining processes.
4. Experience with EFACS, multi‑currency reconciliations, or VAT reporting would be advantageous but not essential.
