Nursery Assistant/Early Years Practitioner
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a full‑time Nursery Assistant/Early Years Practitioner to work in a primary school in Scunthorpe and the surrounding area.
This role involves working with young people to support them with their play and learning. The setting requires the applicant to have a Level 3 relevant qualification, for example CACHE Level 3 Early Years Education. Pupils are aged 2‑3 years old, so the role may require changing tasks.
Tradewind will support your development during the placement and beyond through our CPD programme via the National College. The position is a single afternoon a week, suitable for those with a flexible schedule, and other shifts and roles may be offered through Tradewind.
Responsibilities
* Working with children in a nursery or early years setting to enable their learning and play.
* Ensuring the children are safe, happy and supported when they play or learn.
Qualifications
* Level 3 or equivalent relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Early Years Education).
* Experience in a nursery or early years setting in the UK.
* Early Years Professional Status.
* Enhanced DBS clearance and relevant overseas police checks, if applicable.
* Full CV history and legal right to work in the UK.
