What we’ll need from you.
Essential:
* UK Driving Licence and access to a roadworthy car
* A genuine desire to help and support others
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
* A flexible approach to work (including evenings, weekends and holidays if required
* Good written English and the ability to complete electronic care records
* Willingness to undergo training and professional development
* Unrestricted right to work in the UK
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a care or support role
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it)
Key Responsibilities:
As a CareAngel, your main duties will include:
* Delivering care in line with each client’s personalised Care Plan
* Supporting clients with daily tasks, including:
o Getting in and out of bed, dressing and undressing
o Personal hygiene support
o Changing catheters or stoma bags
o Administering medication and completing an eMAR
o Assisting with mobility, including the use of aids such as hoists, walking frames, and wheelchairs
o Meal planning, preparation, and cooking
o Light housekeeping and domestic duties
o Collaborating with healthcare professionals such as District Nurses and GPs
o Reporting any concerns or incidents promptly to your Team Leader, Care Manager, or the On-Call team
o Upholding all company policies, procedures, and values
