Teaching Assistant - Spanish Department

We are recruiting a committed Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working closely with the class teacher, you will provide targeted support within lessons, assist with small-group activities, and offer one-to-one guidance where needed. This position is particularly suitable for fluent Spanish speakers or graduates interested in exploring a career in education.
Key Responsibilities:
Support high-quality teaching and learning in Spanish lessons.
Provide individual and small-group support to help students progress.
Assist with preparing lesson materials and classroom activities.
Encourage students' confidence, participation, and engagement.
Contribute to behaviour management and maintain a purposeful learning atmosphere.
Offer general administrative assistance to the department.
Requirements:
Strong spoken and written Spanish skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
A positive, proactive approach to supporting young learners.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
School experience is helpful but not essential.
