Role overview
The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations - We are looking for an experienced finance professional who is willing to get stuck into the day to day aspects of finance as well as the higher level strategic work..
Key Focus Areas:
1. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to drive performance and ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements
2. Lead FP&A with cadence of regular reporting and meetings throughout the organisation and ownership quarterly and annual processes
3. Accurate and timely month ends with reconciled tb to publish balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
4. Develop and maintain financial models, kpi reports, dashboards and other reports to support improved decision-making.
5. Build out cost reduction model
6. Manage the finance team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure accurate and timely completion of all financial tasks and development of the team
7. Work with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with the overall business strategy for example assessing the financial viability of new ideas
8. Identify opportunities for process and system improvements - lead initiatives to increase efficiency
9. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors and insurers.
10. Collaborating with external partners such as developers and data experts
11. Exploring new tooling and smart automation to remove manual labour, improve accuracy rates and reduce handle times
The person
Requirements:
Qualified Accountant ACA / ACCA /CIMA
12. Strong proven experience in a leadership role.
13. Financial modelling experience
14. Experience of the Serviced Office / Co- working industry
15. Significant commercial experience in scaling companies and has been part of an exit (preference)
16. You're highly numeric, able to rapidly size a problem and manage complex data sets for deeper analysis. Being proficient with Excel/Gsheets is a must.
