How You’ll Play Your Part In this role you will, contact current and prospective customers on behalf of MBC/MBV through a variety of different sales channels, with the goal of educating customers on the offers we have on our new and used vehicles, securing a lead for the network where appropriate. This needs to be done whilst adhering to the FCA regulations and ensuring all communications ends with a good customer outcome. Main Accountabilities Specialists are expected to maintain an in depth understanding of FCA regulatory requirements to ensure they offer a consultative approach when discussing financial information with customers ensuring they do not breach the current regulations and provide good customer outcomes. When prospecting to customers through the Outbound Telephony sales channel, Specialists are expected to influence 10% of all customers contacted into leads for the network whilst using their understanding of Mercedes-Benz products and financial regulations to recommend suitable vehicles and offers. Through the LiveChat sales channel, Specialists are expected to influence 25% of all customers spoken to on the service into leads for the network, using their understanding of Mercedes-Benz products and services to locate suitable vehicles on our Online Showroom. Specialists are expected to maintain an in-depth knowledge of GDPR and how this relates to customer and lead data. They must ensure that all data and leads processed are accurate and complies with GDPR. Specialists must ensure that all contact with customers is to the high standard expected by MBFS and passes all regulatory and quality checks. Specialists will support and liaise with the retailer and dealer networks through sharing lead and sales opportunities. About You Strong sense of integrity to ensure all FCA regulations are followed when discussing offers. Previous experience of working in a regulated sales environment is preferential. The ability to self-motivate to drive themselves to hit sales conversion targets. Strong rapport building skills to quickly establish relationship with prospective customers. Excellent attention to detail to ensure all GDPR regulations are adhered to. An understanding of the automotive industry and its products is preferential. A results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding KPIs.
