Job Description
We are now seeking a Finance assistant to join our team of seasoned professsionals. Taking responsibility for providing administrative support and ensuring the creation of accurate and reliable data, you will be working alongside a highly experienced, time-served team who will give you the support and guidance needed to develop your career.
Job responsibilities of Finance Assistant include:
1. Raising of purchase orders
2. Checking accuracy of purchase invoices and nominal coding
3. Update of purchase order logs
4. Reconciliation of weekly subcontract costs and resolving queries
5. Reconciliation of Deployment and Kronos
6. Reconciliation and management of petty cash
7. Preparation of weekly costings
8. Ordering of office stationary / uniforms / materials / packaging etc.
9. Reconcile of 3rd party volume data
10. Support with the month end process
11. Manage the weekly debt report
Qualifications
To apply for the role of Finance Assistant, you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications:
12. Have excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
13. Be able to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale
14. Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year
15. Be able to communicate well at all levels within the business
16. Have the ability to identify and suggest improvements to benefit both GBD and our customer
17. Knowledge of SAP, and Road Runner would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
18. PC Literate in Word, Excel and Outlook
19. Should demonstrate the drive and desire to progress
20. Must be flexible in approach to work and shift patterns
