The role involves delivering high-quality teaching in English and Maths to students with varied and complex needs, tailoring your approach to individual requirements. You will help students achieve their potential while fostering personal development, confidence, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess lessons for individuals and small groups, aligned to the Further Education curriculum.
* Monitor, record, and report on student progress, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
* Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behaviour Plans, and other personalised learning strategies.
* Organise classrooms, resources, and displays to provide a stimulating and safe learning environment.
* Manage challenging behaviours, supporting students from needing external control to developing self-regulation.
* Work closely with Pastoral Support Workers, Tutors, and Care Staff to provide a consistent approach to education and care.
