Sunday - Thursday 16:00-00:30.

The role
As a Shift Manager, you will:
* Supervise, train, provide performance feedback, and assign duties to direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness in the ambient operation.
* Oversee operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing merchandise, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory, ensuring the safe handling of goods.
* Plan production schedules and allocate resources effectively, ensuring job assignments are completed on time while maintaining production records.
* Track warehouse activities including record control, employee productivity, health and safety, and operational volumes to ensure smooth running of the ambient operation.
* Take responsibility for ensuring warehouse compliance with safety standards and company procedures, with a focus on maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean working environment.
* Investigate accidents and near misses, following company accident investigation procedures to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
* Assist with resolving employee concerns and maintain effective communication at all levels of the organisation to foster a positive working environment.
* Ensure a high level of employee engagement throughout the shift, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
* Assist with managing the voice pick operation.
* Maintain accurate shift reports and provide detailed feedback to the management team on operational performance and any challenges faced.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience in a similar warehouse management or supervisory role.
* Has experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
* Can communicate effectively with all team members in English.
* Demonstrates good working practices and has a strong focus on health and safety.
* Engages well with employees at all levels, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Is proactive in troubleshooting and problem-solving to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
* Recognises the importance of continuous improvement and is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
* Has the ability to motivate and lead a team, ensuring high levels of employee performance and satisfaction.
