YOUR IMPACT
Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Legal seeks a derivatives lawyer with asset management experience to provide legal coverage related to OTC derivatives, cleared swaps, futures, repo, FX prime brokerage, and other transactions.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Analyzing regulatory changes affecting trading and documentation of derivatives and collaborating with industry groups, the asset management business, and other stakeholders.
* Supporting the EMEA Asset Management Legal team and the global GSAM Derivatives Legal team, which provide ongoing legal support for trading and markets related to GSAM's funds and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 5+ years of legal experience post-qualification in a reputable law firm, fund, asset management firm, or investment bank.
* Strong knowledge and experience in derivatives.
* Pension fund/scheme experience is a plus but not required.
* Outstanding credentials from law firms and law schools; US or UK legal qualification preferred.
* High initiative, integrity, organizational skills, and commercial instincts.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
