The Role
Almac Pharma Services manufactures medicines in tablet, capsule, and powder form, and packs commercial drug products into bottles, blisters, and sachets. We also provide specialised packaging solutions for medical kits, vials, and syringes. Our services support the provision of medicines and treatments to patients worldwide.
We are pleased to offer an opportunity to join our Laxido Operations night shift team as a Senior Operator Grade 2. You will control process operations within your designated production room, ensuring product quality complies with cGMP. Your daily tasks include checking materials, setting up production equipment, completing setup checks, operating equipment according to work instructions and SOPs, and maintaining high standards of production documentation. You will oversee staff within your operations and support the Production Supervisor to ensure efficient, on-schedule completion of operations.
This role offers a hands-on opportunity to ensure the successful production and packaging of pharmaceutical products. Previous experience in a regulated environment (manufacturing, packaging, engineering, food & drinks) is advantageous for career progression within our growing organisation, where numerous personal and professional development opportunities are available.

Key Requirements
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* GCSEs at Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications, or relevant industry experience
* Experience in a production environment involving machinery, team coordination, and quality control
* Teamworking experience
* Supervisory experience is a strong advantage
