Our client, a leading housing provider, is currently recruiting for an M&E Contracts Manager to join their team.
You will ensure full legislative and regulatory compliance across their property portfolio, providing oversight across a range of mechanical and electrical systems, such as lifts, electrical systems, powered gates, M&E plant, and more.
This role is a remote position with a requirement to manage your diary and be on site as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee M&E repairs and service contracts to ensure full compliance and quality assurance
* Monitor the performance of contractors and M&E surveyors across servicing, testing, and auditing
* Collaborate closely with internal teams and external agencies on safety, risk, and governance
* Maintain and update compliance databases, ensuring timely risk assessment actions
* Promote resident satisfaction through high-quality service delivery
* Represent Stonewater in forums and regulatory interactions, supporting continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a high-compliance, risk-based environment
* Strong technical knowledge of IET Regs, LOLER, CDM, fire safety, lift systems, and building regs
* Experience managing contractors and performance in domestic/commercial housing
* Skilled in M&E risk assessments, safety audits, and statutory servicing
* Confident communicator with excellent project management skills
* Proactive, organised, and committed to continuous professional development
