Your Role as a Sales Engineer
In this pivotal position, you will:
* Develop Specification Sales: Focus on the Carrier range of HVAC equipment, including Chillers and Heat Pumps, across South East England.
* Identify New Opportunities: Seek out and cultivate new business prospects while expanding sales of our finished goods and related services.
* Implement Strategic Growth: Collaborate with M&E contractors, distributors, consultants, and end-user clients to enhance Carrier's market presence.
* Maintain Customer Relationships: Regularly engage with customers, requiring travel to ensure strong connections.
* Handle Reporting & Administration: Keep track of your progress and maintain organized records.
* Collaborate with Sales Teams: Work alongside our direct sales teams to capture market share in your designated region.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of the HVAC industry, particularly in hydronic chilled water and heating applications.
* Sales Experience: A strong background in HVAC sales, working with installing contractors, M&E’s, and specification consultants.
* Time Management Skills: The ability to manage your own schedule, set targets, and track your progress effectively.
* Presentation Skills: Confidence in conducting meetings and presenting ideas.
* Competitor Awareness: Knowledge of the competitive landscape.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
* Driving License: A valid UK driving license.
* IT Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office and other relevant software.
