We are seeking a senior, resilient homelessness leader to take charge of a high‑demand service within a large council at a critical moment.
This is a senior leadership role with a strong operational focus. You will provide strategic leadership across homelessness prevention, housing register assessments, rough sleeping responses, and the allocation of social housing.
You will lead transformation across:
* Gripping the front door and managing demand differently
* Strengthening the quality of homelessness assessments
* Embracing technology and new delivery models
* Better integrating homelessness and rough sleeping services
* Reducing reliance on temporary accommodation
Hybrid working available (minimum 6‑month period)
Operating at scale within a large, complex council environment
