Job Description
3. Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports in line with company standards.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations.
5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the finance department.
6. Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
7. Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
8. Maintain and improve internal controls and reporting procedures.
9. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy.
10. Contribute to ad hoc financial projects as required by management.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Reporting Accountant should have:
11. A strong background in accounting and finance within the energy and natural resources sector.
12. Experience with CAPEX
13. Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
14. Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
15. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
