Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Huthwaite, NG17 Type: Permanent (TTP) Industry: Technical and Engineering Salary: £14.83 to £17.94 per hour depending on experience plus excellent company benefits Workchain is currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our client in Huthwaite on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be either an experienced machine operator who is either familiar with working on plastic extrusion machines or has a mechanical aptitude and happy to learn new skills. Hours of work are continental shifts, 6.00am to 6.00pm and 6.00pm to 6.00am, 4 on, 4 off however an element of flexibility may be offered around working days and times. Key Responsibilities: * Ensuring adherence to Health and Safety standards and ensuring procedures are always followed * Monitoring and maintaining process to ensure finished product meets all relevant specifications * Ensuring production schedule is adhered to * Ensuring all production activities are monitored to minimized downtime and scrap levels * Ensuring all relevant production administration is completed * Maximizing production with production monitoring and fault finding, set changes, tool trials and regulation of cycle times * Ensuring general maintenance of machinery, including striping tools, inspecting parts, verifying, and adjusting the meet specification Technical training will be provided for the right candidat...
