We are currently supporting their recruitment for a Quality Inspector to join their team on a full time, permanent contract.This position is working Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm offering an hourly starting rate of £14 p/h.Our client serves multiple industry sectors including aerospace, automotive, food and military with CNC machining and related services so this is a great opportunity to be part of a successful and fast growing business.Quality Inspector main duties:Inspect machined components using a variety of measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, micrometers, gauges, CMM where applicable)Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspectionsRead and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsRecord inspection results and complete quality documentationIdentify non-conformances and support corrective actionsWork closely with production and management to maintain quality standardsSupport continuous improvement and quality initiativesQuality Inspector required skills and experience:Previous experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environmentExperience using technical measuring equipment like verniers, micrometers and CMMAbility to read and understand technical engineering drawingsFamiliar with precision measuring equipmentStrong attention to detail and a methodical approach to workGood communication skills and a positive team attitudeQuality-related qualifications are desirable but not essentialImmediate interviews and start available for the successful candidate.GMP Recruitment are recruiting for this role on behalf of their client and are acting as an Employment Agency
