The role:
1. Collaborate with internal teams to plan and coordinate programs, events and initiatives to support our engagement and outreach goals.
2. Ensure that Ryobi brand guidelines and key messaging are met across all marketing touch points.
3. Monitor and report on performance metrics, including internal and external engagement.
4. Social media management, including content creation, scheduling and reporting, to build brand awareness, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and promote outreach initiatives and company values.
5. Provide social media coverage at key events, when required.
6. Monitor social media trends, conversations, and feedback to identify opportunities for engagement and reputation management.
7. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
8. Support the creation of marketing materials (e.g. presentation slides and recruitment marketing brochures).
9. Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and emerging trends to continuously improve strategies and tactics.

Essential Criteria:
* Relevant 3rd level qualification
* Candidates with a lesser qualification, plus significant relevant experience will also be considered
* Experience in marketing, corporate social responsibility, community relations, or related fields
* Experience in managing social media accounts
* Experience of working with social media platforms, tools, and trends
* Exceptional attention to detail with good grammar and written communication skills
* Ability to create engaging content for internal and external audiences
* Ability to create social media graphics and video content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
* Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for making a positive impact on society and the environment
* Strong time management and organizational skills
* Adaptable and flexible
* Strong interpersonal skills in working with colleagues and external stakeholders
* Strong IT skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
