We're seeking a talented and motivated TM1 Stock Preparation Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team in Deeside, North Wales. What you'll do:
* With a key focus of front-line maintenance, assisting in the coordination and action of the engineering department daily and weekly prioritisation, scheduling and preparation of workload.
* Focus on reliability and preventative maintenance to ensure problems are resolved effectively and efficiently.
* Responsible for the day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities associated with the Tissue TM1 Stock Preparation and Stock Approach.
* Provide mechanical support to the ancillary plant and equipment necessary for the paper machine to function reliability, including the WTP, CHP and the site wide workshops.
* Interact and support the TM1 production teams, ensuring a partnering working relationship to assist in the proactive approach of identifying problems and providing support where required.
* Provide effective and efficient response to un-planned maintenance activities, ensuring minimal effect on production, whilst ensuring safety and environmental release are a priority.
* Ensuring efficient resolution to all immediate and developing problems.
* Collaboration with Planners and managers to provide technical direction to engineering teams allocated to work within the TM1 area.
* Deliver safe, efficient and compliant services within and outside the workshop in line with Shotton Mills polices and standards and wider business requirements.
* Ensure agreed operational targets are achieved whilst considering asset availability, reliability and costs.
What you'll bring:
* HNC in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstratable experience.
* Experience in working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of product types.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Highly motivated, agile and results driven with the ability to problem solve.
* Excellent organisational skills, capable of efficiently prioritising work and ensuring smooth workflow.
* Attention to detail and the ability to use own initiative.
