An opportunity has arisen for a Requirements Engineer - Contract to join the Vehicle Integration department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.
Job role:
* Elicit top-level customer and product-level requirements for products in Polarion.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts on products to interpret, decompose and cascade requirements from vehicle or product level to various system levels.
* Deliver any updates requested by the users to the project template in Polarion.
* Approve and feedback on requirements for products. Coaching what good looks like, where required.
* Audit requirements and report out statuses to the project teams at Technical and Programme gateways.
* Audit links and low-level requirements and report gaps for actioning to the technical engineering teams.
* Deliver projects against the Requirements Management Plan.
* Deliver projects against the Systems Engineering Management Plan.
* Deliver projects against the Operational and Processes Requirements Specification.
* Assign owners to the requirements in Polarion for acceptance from system engineers for the requirements that are cascaded.
* Action change requests related to requirements.
* Create actions reports for conflicting requirements.
* Deliver product or full-vehicle certification and compliance sign-off.
* Present the implications of regulations on the development and validation strategy.
* Inform test manager and V&V teams, when requirement specifications are created, to ensure requirements have a suitable verification and validation strategy and create cadence on the progress being made through verification and validation testing.
* Contribute to the development of tools and processes to improve requirements management.
* Provide technical support to business development activities, including customer briefings and conference presentations, technical readiness and risk analysis assessments.
