the role
We are looking for a MS&P Manager to support the translation of commercial strategic goals and be part of our brilliant team.
· Experience: ~ 3-5 yrs FMCG/CPG experience in MS&P (or RGM)
· FTC for 6 months, part time (3-4 days per week).
· Reports into General Manager
· London based (in office 1-2 x per week)
responsibilities & what we’re looking for from you
· PP&A scenario modelling on core range evolution, renovations and innovation, per the 3-5 year strategic plan
· P&L scenario modelling as a part of the Gate review and sign off process for innovation and renovation projects – per the 3-5 year strategic plan
· Daily collaboration with marketing and product team to turn strategy into plans for execution
· Bringing consumer insights in, taking an agile and resourceful approach, triangulating insights with category and commercial data, to support project direction and execution. Ultimately supporting the development of compelling sell-in stories to secure listings, including recommendations on research and working with the brand team on research priorities
· Support on modelling pricing and promotional scenarios, trade investment, margin evolution, range/customer/channel mix, and the annual CPI cadence – providing decisions and direction for NAMs (new promo playbook)
· Identification, recommending and supporting the realisation of opportunities to accelerate growth via an enhanced price/promo/mix position, possible due to The Collective’s favourable margin position post-acquisition.
· Bringing impact of any commercial proposals to The Collective LT for review, including context of impact to in year P&L and longer term 3-year strat plan
* Serve as a point of connection between NAMS, C&I and Brand/Innovation in planning and execution, including attending TC specific weekly meetings
* Support brand team with the creation of tools for measurement and tracking of performance
