Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Site Projects Engineer to join their projects team. In this role, you will be delivering small to medium-sized projects in construction, building services, or similar industrial environments.
Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position, but other qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver site-based customer projects at a range of engagement levels
* Monitor project performance, achievement of QCDP KPIs
* Lead when required as part of a cohesive team
* Engage appropriately with stakeholders
* Support sales processes and site surveys as required
* Identify and mitigate site risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
Experience & Skills Required
* Experience delivering small to medium projects in construction, building services, or similar industrial environments
* Technical environment experience; LEV or HVAC experience desirable
* Knowledge of LEV/HVAC solutions, equipment, and technology or similar domain
* Understanding of occupational health and hazard management
* Ability to supervise contract teams
* Competence in reading, interpreting, and managing risk assessments
* Proficiency with multiple IT systems
Note: Our client works on critical national infrastructure; therefore, the successful candidate will need a clear DBS check and may require security clearance. A full UK driving license, excellent communication skills, IT proficiency, and customer relationship skills are essential.
Education
* Maths and English at least Level 2, preferably Level 3 or equivalent vocational experience
* Mechanical or Electrical Technician qualification to Level 3 or above (or equivalent)
* Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE, APM, PMP) desirable
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Formal H&S qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH, etc.) desirable
