Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment have been engaged to source a Management Accountant on a full time, staff basis. This newly created role is based in Altens with lots of flexibility. Our client is an exciting and growing Private Equity backed business offering cutting edge technologies and solutions in their field. Our client services industries across the globe, including offshore renewables, oil and gas and marine science. This is an excellent role offering career progression and development opportunities.
Working closely with the Financial Controllers and Business Partners, the Management Accountant will play a central role in producing accurate, timely financial and compliance reporting that supports the business across multiple regions. Ideal candidates will have extensive management accounting experience and be part qualified/fully qualified.
The Opportunity
Support the preparation of regional monthly reporting
Balance sheet reconciliations and follow-up actions
Prepare regional GST and VAT returns
Assist with the preparation of regional compliance reporting, including corporation tax and US related tax
Manage audit actions for each region
Withholding tax and Major Exporter Scheme control and reporting
Document processes to facilitate knowledge retention
Manage intercompany controls, including reconciliation and timely clear-down of balances
Coordination of ESG data for reporting
Work closely with Financial Controllers and Finance Business Partners across regions
Liaise with regional finance teams to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting
Maintain a close liaison with managers, supervisors and operational departments to ensure they receive necessary information and guidance
Background and Experience
Achieved CIMA/ACCA/equivalent or actively studying
A minimum of 5 year's experience of Management Accountant experience possessing a wide-ranging knowledge
Knowledge of Oil and Gas Service industry / Marine Surveys
Strong organisational and time-management skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and explain financial data
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and regions
Ability to document processes clearly and support continuous improvement
Professional, reliable, and able to handle confidential information appropriately
