Overview
The Stornoway service provides support to individuals within the town, enabling them to live full lives and be involved in the local community. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team and promote independence and life skills to our supported people.
Main Duties
* Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
* Communicating and working well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
* Being responsible in supporting individuals throughout activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
* Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on the Arks Information Management system.
What is Relief?
As a Relief Support Practitioner, you do not have contracted hours. This provides flexibility, allowing you to pick up shifts that suit your availability. Relief work is offered on an as and when basis to cover sickness absence, study leave, and other staffing needs. We cannot guarantee regular or ongoing work, as the demand for relief staffing may vary over time.

Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience of the following is an advantage but not essential, as training is provided: This role may also be referred to as Support Worker, Care Assistant, or Care Worker in other organisations.
All interviews are conducted in person.
