EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Garstang, LancashireStart Date: September 2026Contract: Full-time (part-time may be considered)Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Garstang, who are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their early years team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and thrives in a nurturing, play-based learning environment.
The Role:
* Supporting children in Nursery or Reception, both 1:1 and in small groups
* Assisting the class teacher with daily activities and lesson preparation
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional development
* Supporting learning through play in line with the EYFS framework
* Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate:
* Has experience working within an EYFS setting (desirable)
* Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (desirable)
* Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners
* Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
* Holds (or is willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service
