This is an exciting opportunity for a recent planning graduate with a passion for residential development and a keen eye for strategy to kickstart their career with a nationally recognised company. Our client specialises in securing planning permissions for major residential schemes across the UK, playing a key role in tackling the housing shortage.
As a Graduate Planner, you’ll work alongside an experienced and supportive team of planning professionals, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of the planning process – from site appraisals and planning applications to appeals and local plan representations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and supporting documents
Researching planning policy and contributing to site promotion strategies
Helping to prepare reports, planning statements, and appeal documentation
Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
Supporting the planning team in the delivery of residential development projects
What We’re Looking For:
A degree (or working towards a postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or a related subject
A good understanding of the UK planning system
Strong research and analytical skills
A team player with enthusiasm, initiative, and attention to detail
A genuine interest in residential planning and strategic land promotion
