We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to enable clients with complex needs to move towards recovery. As a Support Worker in our High Support Accommodation Service, you will work in a psychologically and trauma informed way, be values led and looking to grow both personally and professionally.

The Role:
The aim of a Support Worker is to deliver person-centred support to clients who are on a journey to recovery and who live in our High Support Accommodation. Working in a psychologically, adversity and trauma informed way, this includes:
* Holding a caseload of complex clients who you meet 1:1 at least weekly
* Developing and facilitating groups and activities for clients
* Developing support plans and working creatively with clients
* Maintaining detailed case notes
* Helping clients to develop new skills and independence
* Helping clients to manage income and reduce debt
* Responding to incidents and ensuring accurate reporting
* Promoting the safety and wellbeing of clients
* Supporting the housing team to effectively manage the building
* Championing hope and courage

About our Accommodation-based services
Second Step provides a variety of accommodation-based services as part of the Bristol City Council commissioned Pathways, as well as multiple other housing related services. Currently accommodation-based services are located in Bristol, however, Second Step has services throughout the South West.
