We are seeking a highly motivated, committed, and experienced Medical Personal Assistant to cover maternity leave and provide high-quality administrative services to clinicians in Women's Services at Colchester Hospital.
You must have relevant qualifications and experience in providing a PA service within an NHS hospital setting. To be successful, you will have a flexible and professional approach.
This is a fixed-term/secondment contract until 31/07/2026, for 30 hours per week.
The post can close earlier if sufficient applications are received.
The key aspect of your role involves dealing with the public and professionals; hence, you must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work independently, providing a full range of secretarial and administrative support, and must be highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
Your duties will include audio typing using the digital dictation system, use of IM&T systems for data entry, and dealing with telephone enquiries.
