Job Title: Behaviour Support Staff Location: Sheffield (S2, S3) Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Do you have the resilience and empathy to support young people in making positive behavioural choices? GSL Education are searching committed Behaviour Support Staff to work within schools in Sheffield (S2, S3), helping to create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment. As Behaviour Support Staff, you will work closely with pupils who require additional guidance, promoting positive behaviour strategies and encouraging engagement with learning. You will play a key part in fostering consistency, trust, and emotional support throughout the school day. Your responsibilities as Behaviour Support Staff: Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support Implement agreed behaviour management strategies Support pupils in developing social and emotional skills Work collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams Monitor and report on pupil progress and wellbeing What we’re looking for: Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs Strong communication and de-escalation skills A calm, patient, and proactive approach Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) If you are motivated to make a positive impact as Behaviour Support Staff in Sheffield, we welcome your application.
