Mechanical Fitter

Double Days Monday – Thursday
6am – 3.45pm & 3.30pm - Midnight
+ Unlimited Overtime OTE £50,000
Due to an ever-expanding orderbook we are expanding capacity at our site in Rochdale and are looking for Mechanical Fitters to join our team.
The Role
* Working from engineering drawings
* Mechanical fitting of special purpose machinery & equipment
* Fitting and assembling various to be supplied into large customer base
* Follow planned operations to completion at prescribed production rates to meet customer delivery schedule in accordance with Company H&S and Quality Policies
* Fit and assemble Mechanical components exposed to motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Conduct safety checks and performance monitoring for machining, associated equipment and surrounding work area
* Receive, read and interpret engineering data and documentation, engineering drawings and technical data
* Check and inspect materials to be machined to ensure that they conform to quality standards
* Identify and report any issues or faults such as incorrect grades, dimensions and thicknesses
* Collaborate with colleagues and provide training if required
