IDEX Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Environmental Lawyer (7–14 years PQE) for a national firm. The role involves advising clients on complex regulatory environmental matters and supporting corporate transactions. Candidates should have significant experience in environmental law and the ability to manage complex caseloads. Salary ranges from £72,000 to £108,000 annually.
Location & Flexibility
UK-wide (London or remote). Can be based in any of the firm’s offices (London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield) or fully remote arrangements will be considered.
The Role
* Acting on regulatory environmental defence work, advising and representing clients in environmental prosecutions and enforcement actions.
* Supporting major real estate and corporate clients on the environmental aspects of transactions.

The Candidate
* Minimum 7–8 years PQE in environmental law (regulatory and/or corporate support).
* Experience in defending environmental cases is highly desirable.
* Corporate support experience with large real estate or corporate clients is beneficial.
* Must be a genuine environmental specialist – H&S regulatory experience is not relevant for this role.
* Ability to work independently and manage complex caseloads.
* Open to senior candidates seeking short-term or contract roles.
