Job Title: Band 6 PhysiotherapistLocation: Kingston-upon-ThamesSector: Private HealthcareEmployment Type: Part-time (19 hours/week)Overview:We are pleased to support our client, a well-regarded private hospital based in Kingston-upon-Thames, in the search for an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join their dedicated and dynamic therapy team. This part-time role offers a diverse and rewarding caseload split equally between outpatients and inpatients, predominantly orthopaedic in nature.The role includes one evening shift per week (until 8pm), participation in the weekend rota, and one Saturday shift per month. You will be working alongside a skilled and supportive team of senior physiotherapists within a collaborative clinical environment.Key Responsibilities:
* Independently manage a mixed caseload of outpatient MSK and inpatient orthopaedic patients.
* Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
* Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and members of the multidisciplinary team.
* Contribute to service development and maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge.
* Prioritise caseload effectively and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Participate in the weekend rota and fulfil one regular evening and one Saturday shift per month.
Candidate Requirements:Knowledge and Qualifications:
* BSc or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
* HCPC and CSP registered.
* Minimum 3 years post-graduate clinical experience.
* Evidence of recent post-graduate course attendance (desirable).
Experience:
* Solid experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and orthopaedics.
* Clinical exposure to general surgery, respiratory care, and acute inpatients.
* Participation in audits or research activities (desirable).
* Experience managing acute respiratory patients (desirable).
Skills:
* Excellent time management and prioritisation abilities.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Professional, calm, and composed under pressure.
* Confident in collaborating across departments and engaging with patients empathetically.
