Job Title:Finance and Payroll Administrator
Salary:£27,300
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Shirley
Role Purpose
Were seeking a proactive and highly organised Finance and Payroll Administratorto provide essential administrative and finance support to a successful and ever-growing business. You'll play a key role in taking ownership of day-to-day admin, payroll and financial support administrative duties.
This varied, fast paced role touches on administration, financial assistance, training and development, health and safety and quality monitoring and requires a professional and well experienced individual to drive success within the team and wider business.
Key Duties
Deal with enquires from new and existing customers
Manage the day-to-day administration
Process payroll hours on a weekly basis ensuring to meet deadlines for the monthly payroll run
Monitor staff sickness, absences and holiday
Responsible for petty cash and to maintain monthly reconciliations
Maintain purchase ledger by ensuring that all invoices are sent as and when required
Ensure that invoicing is completed within the deadlines on a monthly basis
Responsible for stock of stationery
Ensure familiar with all policies and practical implementation with regard to Health and Safety, including accident reporting and fire procedures
Responsible for training and development procedures for staff and ensure all members are up to date with relevant requirements
Oversee Receptionists ensuring holiday/sickness is covered
Key Skills/Experience Required
Proven experience in senior administrative or business support role
Experience within payroll and finance-based duties
Bookkeeping and cash handling experience
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office
Confident communication and interpersonal skills
High level of discretion and confidentiality
