Job Overview
A unique opportunity has arisen for a Science Technician to support our students and staff across the Science Faculty.
Duties will include; setting up equipment in a laboratory environment for practical lessons, the safe disposal of chemicals, responsibility for ionisation and radioactive materials, stock taking, retrieving and putting away equipment along with any other duties deemed necessary by the Faculty Leader. Ideally, candidates should possess a good working knowledge of COSHH and CLEAPSS in order to maintain compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
Candidates should also have experience of working in an educational establishment and be committed to the support and development of young people.
