As our Procurement Administrator, you will provide essential support to the Procurement team by managing the flow of purchasing activity, supplier administration, and key operational processes that keep our organisation running efficiently.
From converting purchase requisitions into compliant purchase orders and managing fleet‑related administration, to handling supplier additions, monitoring utilities performance, and supporting our sustainability and safety commitments, your work ensures accuracy, compliance and continuity across multiple business‑critical functions.
With your experience in administrative environments and strong organisational skills, you’ll maintain accurate records, prepare reports, support internal stakeholders, and build effective relationships with external suppliers, making a meaningful impact as a trusted and reliable member of our Procurement team.

Role Overview
Key responsibilities:
· To manage the process of converting Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders for FDRC.
· To review orders in Oracle Fusion ensuring all orders are compliant by checking value, linked to contract or attached the appropriate number of quotes, chase originator if not following purchasing policy.
· Fleet administration – dealing with contract lease companies and main dealers direct, provide benchmark competing quotes, manage DVLA correspondence for assets, fuel cards, dart charge and online insurance ensuring all roadgoing vehicles are fully compliant.
· Administer the internal process for supplier addition forms in line with new legislation and business changes, run credit reports, and provide support and guidance to help staff complete the process.
· Administration of utilities – monitor KPI information, ensure meter readings are taken on time, and maintain a register of volume.
· Perform administration tasks for department, including producing reports (inclusive of adhoc supplier spend), raising orders in Oracle Fusion and monitoring spend on soft service contracts as directed. Provide key internal stakeholders with relevant data as and when required.
· Cover main reception duties as and when required for holiday cover.
· Assist with the development of the Procurement intranet website.
· Ensure compliance to all policies, procedures, standard operating practices, with recommendations for action and continuous improvement
What you need:
· Strong organisational, planning and multi‑tasking ability – able to prioritise workload, manage multiple tasks, and work effectively in a fast‑moving environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills – confident engaging with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and handling sensitive information appropriately.
· High attention to detail and accuracy – essential for processing orders, managing data, preparing reports, and maintaining compliance.
· Confident IT user with proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new systems – crucial for working with Oracle Fusion, electronic systems, and producing accurate documentation.
· Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work to tight deadlines – resolving issues quickly, supporting colleagues, and maintaining steady workflow under pressure.
