Job Overview This position is to train and become an integral part of the installation team with the candidate reporting directly to the selected account manager. The outcome of the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of their assigned projects and/or clients. Key remit of this position is to ensure that all projects are conducted according to the agreed client brief, within the given deadline. This role will require the candidate to work with and communicate regularly with different departments throughout the Delta Group as well as external clients, suppliers, sub-contractors, and other external contacts, whilst always reflecting the Delta Group’s professional image. Key Responsibilities with training · Train to plan and execute Projects and orders in line with the agreed client brief. · Ensure understanding and awareness of the proposed brief and job requirements. · Follow departments correct working processes and company best practices. · Monitor and track projects progress and report any potential problems. · Report any issues regarding compliance to procedures and job specifications. · Plan for all up-coming projects, ensuring that sufficient resources and staff are in place for peak times and large projects. · Consult with the clients, Sales, and Production teams to process, develop, and finalise client’s briefs. · Conduct site surveys when required and make recommendations accordingly on resources, staff, methods, potential issues, and cost of the project. · Consult with other departments to ensure materials are planned, equipped, briefed and that they have everything they need to successfully complete their work. · Multi-task, prioritise own workload according to deadlines and complete and update the schedule and monitor progress through the project. Communicate delays to our schedule and respond to client feedback. · Report any issues regarding compliance to procedures and job specification. · Maintain and manage relationships with clients, internal staff, sub-contractors, suppliers, and other external contacts. · Respond to customer communication in a professional manner, always maintaining and protecting the Delta Groups’ image. · Book international travel & route planning. · Provide Health and Safety recommendations for each project and enforce all aspects of Health and Safety, both on and off-site. Commercials with Training · Ensure that quotations are correct and viable and review when changes are made with any aspect of the project. · Monitor spending and reduce subcontracted labour to a minimum. · Ensure all project changes are informed and charged through to the clients. · Help maintain a credible P&L account. · Review costs against sales, reduce costs where possible and research new cost-effective methods where applicable. · Help maintain a healthy Gross and net margin. Skills, Knowledge and Experience Essential · Literate and numerate (GCSE’s/ or equivalent as a minimum). · Ability to work as part of a team and their own initiatives. · Well organised · Good attention to detail. · Computer literate in particular Word, Excel, and Outlook.
