Ward Manager - Moorside Unit, Irwell Ward
There is an exciting opportunity for the position of ward manager at Moorside Unit, Irwell Ward. The ward is a male PICU with 6 beds. The successful candidate will need to be an experienced, highly skilled, and motivated registered mental health nurse, possessing excellent communication and leadership skills. The candidate should be able to support and lead a diverse team of staff, working closely with the senior leadership team to manage environmental challenges and support patients in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage resources and respond to operational demands across the service.
* Ensure compliance with the Trust's quality statements, policies, and procedures, including Risk Management and Health & Safety.
* Investigate and report on complaints, reporting difficulties in policy maintenance to the Service Manager.
* Participate in the appraisal system and develop junior staff through Preceptorship, Mentorship, and supervision.
* Ensure client-centered, evidence-based clinical care, including clinical audits.
* Coordinate the care team's daily activities, providing leadership and support.
* Promote Clinical and Social governance arrangements.
* Participate in MADE meetings and collaborate with external agencies.
* Determine and manage the ward's administrative needs.
* Lead joint working with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure responsive service delivery.
* Represent the service internally and externally.
