Significantopportunitytogrowinaninternationaltradingbusiness.ThefocusonthemarketingandsellingofvariousPackagingRawMaterials(Steel,Plastics,paper,andMetals)totheMiddleEast,Europe,andAfrica.ThepositionistomanageandnurturetheexistingexportsalesbusinessanddevelopnewbusinessinavarietyofproductsincludingbutnotlimitedtoPlastics,Paper,Tinplate,AluminiumSlugs,CoatedSteelproducts,ColdRolledsteelandAluminiumprofiles.
* Drivetheexistingbusinessanddevelopnewcustomersandproducts.
* Cooperateandliaisewithcustomersandsuppliersworldwide.
* Travelfrequentlytomeetregionaloffices,suppliers,andcustomers.
* Achieveandexceedsalestargetsinlinewiththecompanystrategy,definedKPI'sandagreedannualbudget.
* Identifypotentialwithinnewandexistingcustomersanddevisestrategieswithaviewtogrowingthedepartmentsturnoverinlinewiththebusiness’growthplans.
* Workcloselywithlocalcolleaguesaswellastheregionalofficestoachievedesignatedgrowthtargets.
* Monthlyreportingonsalesandmarketingactivitytothelinemanagerandotherstakeholders.
* LearntouseSAPandcontributetoourdatabaseandothermanagementinformationsystems.
* Deviseanddelivertechnicalandcommercialproductpresentationstoawiderangeofstakeholders.

* Providecleardirection,support,andguidancetofiveteammemberstoachievedepartmentalandorganisationalgoals.
* Fosterapositiveandinclusiveteamculturebyidentifyingtrainingneeds,mentoringstaff,andfacilitatingprofessionaldevelopmentopportunities.
* Setperformanceexpectations,conductregularevaluations,andmanageperformancethroughcoaching,feedback,andformalreviews.
* Participateintherecruitmentprocess,onboardingnewhires,andensuringasmoothintegrationintotheteam.

* Provenexperiencemanagingdiverseteams.
* Productknowledgeofpackagingrawmaterials(eitherPlastics/Paper/Steel/Aluminium)
* Teamplayerandabletobuildrelationshipwithcolleaguesfromdifferentnationalities(bothUKandoverseas)
* InternationaltravelexperiencepreferablyinMENAregion
* GoodknowledgeofshippingandINCOTERMS
* StrongMicrosoftOfficeskills.
* Willingtotravelfrequentlytovisitsupplies/customers/tradeexhibitionsinAsia,MiddleEast,AfricaandEurope.10–20weeksannually(Europetripstypically2–4days;Asia/Africatripsapprox.7–12days)
* DemonstratedtrackrecordofmanagingabusinessofapproximatelyGBP25M.
