About the Job As the Methodology, Quality and People Manager, you will lead the development and maintenance of GIAA’s internal audit process and ensure the delivery of the Quality Strategy. Having a comprehensive understanding of the Agency’s methodology, quality strategy, and the Global Internal Audit Standards is vital for this position. You will play a key role in preserving quality assurance, boosting the Agency’s reputation, and enhancing the function by leading the development of a risk-centric culture. You will have experience in carrying out and supervising internal audit functions, as well as utilising and assisting audit management systems. You will effectively apply your skills and knowledge to improve the capabilities of others and the Agency. About You We are looking for: Expert knowledge of internal audit methodologies, including significant experience in effective decision-making, successful planning, managing, and delivering a portfolio of risk-based internal audits while responding quickly to fast-moving priorities. Strategic thinking and sound decision-making abilities with the ability to interpret complex, conflicting information and make sound judgements. Experience managing and developing high-performing audit teams. The ability to deliver multiple complex tasks to potential short timescales with minimum supervision. Strong stakeholder influence skills to promote compliance with internal audit standards. Qualifications Required All candidates will need to demonstrate full current membership of a recognised professional accountancy/audit body, either: Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors UK & Ireland and must hold chartered auditor/CMIIA designation or the MIIA designation where you are qualified under the previous exam route and did not apply to make this chartered. If you have passed all the CMIIA/MIIA exams but do not hold the designation, you are not eligible to apply. Other Institutes of Internal Auditors that are part of IIA Global, If you studied with the Institute of Internal Auditors in another country, you must hold the equivalent of the MIIA designation.
