We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottingham to assist with the appointment of a Customer Service Advisor, on a 2.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £13.26 - £17.14 per hour
Summary:
The Customer Service Advisor will be responsible for delivering a professional, efficient, and customer-focused front-line service. This role involves greeting visitors, handling enquiries, providing information on council services, and supporting administrative and operational functions to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
Responsibilities:
* Greet all visitors, guests, and suppliers in a professional and welcoming manner.
* Provide accurate information, advice, and guidance on council services and partner organisations.
* Handle inbound and outbound calls as part of campaign and service requirements.
* Carry out general administrative duties to support the wider team.
* Escalate issues to line management promptly, ensuring updates are communicated effectively.
* Provide cover for job-share colleagues during holidays and absences.
Essentials:
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
