12-Month Fixed Term Contract Hire Desk Controller

Based in the depot, the Hire Desk Controller plays a key role at the heart of our operations, supporting both sales and customer service. Building strong relationships is essential, as youll manage the full hire process from taking orders to coordinating delivery and collection. Youll work closely with all areas of the depot to ensure customer needs are met and that they receive the high level of service Speedy is known for.
In this desk-based role, youll liaise daily with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure equipment is available and delivered with minimal delay.
What youll need:
Strong organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Adaptability
Willingness to learn and develop
Full driving licence
Previous experience in the hire industry or a similar sales/operations role
Ability to support your team in delivering our ESG Strategy Decade to Deliver
